July 4, 2008 Planned Event

As many of you know, it is a club tradition to get together for a group dinner on the 4th of July. The last few times, we selected Dillon's BBQ in Glendale and it has worked out very well with access to a private room for the group.

This year, if there is sufficient interest, I would like to add a go karting session at Speed Street, also in Glendale. The track and the restaurant are not far apart. Those not interested in actual karting, might like to come and watch, there is no charge for watching the racers, or, if you prefer, just show up at Dillon's at the specified time.

Please let me know if you are interested in driving a kart and I will see what we can put together for the event. As long as we're setting this up, please let me know if you will most likely attend the dinner. If you have a neighbor, relative, co worker that you would like to invite karting, they are welcome. The larger the group we can get the better deal we can swing. However, we don't want a bunch of participants cancelling out at the last minute. Please include the names of any non members who will attend.
