July 4, 2021 - Traditional 4th of July at Dillons!

Planning ahead on this one. As you all know, it has been a club tradition to have a group dinner together on the 4th of July every year, always at the same place,

Dillon's Restaurant in Glendale with the back room reserved just for our group.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 prevented us from having this event in 2020 but we had it 8 years in a row previously. I have already made reservations for our group to enjoy this traditional event this year on Sunday, July 4th. All the details will be coming out later but arrival time is 5:00 PM and we can enjoy an adult beverage at the bar, and at 5:30 retire to our private, reserved room at the rear of the facility. After placing orders, we will probably begin eating around 6:00 PM or shortly thereafter.

Hopefully, members will mark their calendar in advance to participate in this historic club event. Please don't send your RSVP now, I'll ask for it later when I send out the rest of the event details. The July 4th event does not take the place of a monthly tour so we will have a luncheon drive later in July as well to an undecided destination at this time.

An afternoon/evening drive to Show Low and the Cattleman's Steak house is also in the planning somewhere, Maybe August. There will be a tour of some kind every month for the rest of the year and of course our annual Christmas banquet on Saturday December 11th at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg.

ALSO ~~~~~~~~~~ I hope to plan a 2-day event sometime this year, perhaps Bisbee and/or Tombstone, an overnighter. It is truly great to have the opportunity to return to our "normal"
club activities while still observing the Covid 19 requirements in their somewhat relaxed form.

Thanks, I hope we can get a large group again for the July 4th and Christmas events.
